Which products are eligible for rebates?
Our goal is to make it easy and affordable for you to buy the latest energy products for your home. That's why select smart thermostats, lighting products, advanced power strips, and water-saving products on South Jersey Gas Marketplace are eligible for an instant rebate. Below each product, you'll see a quick description of any available rebates.
How do I apply for rebates?
When products eligible for an instant rebate are added to your cart, an “Apply Rebates” button will appear. Click “Apply Rebates” and complete the verification process. Your instant rebate will be automatically applied after verification.
Is everyone eligible for a rebate?
To be eligible for rebates, you must be a South Jersey Gas residential natural gas delivery service customer. Limit is one (1) smart thermostat, three (3) lighting products, two (2) advanced power strips, and two (2) water saving products per residential account.
How do I find out if I’m eligible for an instant rebate?
There are a few ways we can determine your eligibility:
- Enter your shipping address during the “Apply Rebates” process and click “Check Eligibility.”
- Enter your South Jersey Gas account number during the “Apply Rebates” process and click “Check Eligibility.”
Please note that you must agree to the Rebate Terms and Conditions to be eligible for instant rebates.
What are the terms and conditions for South Jersey Gas instant rebates?
When applying instant rebates to your purchases, you must agree to our Rebate Terms and Conditions.
What other rebates does South Jersey Gas offer?

Why should I sign into South Jersey Gas Marketplace?
You always have the option to order without signing in. However, there are benefits to signing in:
- Provides access to your order history and details about each order (such as items in the order, a breakdown of charges, and shipping/billing address used).
- Pre-populates your shipping information based on the primary address of your natural gas service account (you can change it if you like).
To log out of your account, click on your name and select “Logout” from the drop-down menu.

Why wasn’t I able to complete my credit card transaction?

How can I view and print my order confirmation?
You’ll receive a confirmation email with all your order details.
How do I track my order?
Tracking information will be included in the shipping confirmation email we send to you once your order ships.
Note: During peak seasonal and promotional periods, shipping estimates may be slightly delayed 3-5 business days. Please be on the lookout for your tracking email.
Can I cancel an order?
In order to get your order to you as quickly as possible, we begin processing your shipment immediately after you hit "submit". This means that unfortunately, we are unable to cancel orders for in stock items.
What if I received a damaged product?

Why is my item on backorder?

Will South Jersey Gas install my thermostat?
South Jersey Gas does not offer installation services on smart thermostats purchased through the South Jersey Gas marketplace. Please be aware of the installation requirements for each thermostat before purchasing. To check installation compatibility, please review the following:
- ecobee compatibility check
- Nest compatibility check
- Emerson Sensi compatibility check
- Honeywell compatibility check
- Some thermostats require a C-Wire to power the device, such as Honeywell thermostats and Emerson Sensi thermostats (for some installations) offered on this store.
- Nest Learning Thermostats do not need a C-Wire to function in most installations and the ecobee thermostats come with an adaptor for those without a C-Wire.
- Make sure to check your current wiring before purchasing any thermostat, and consult the installation information shown above.
All warranties are provided by the product manufacturer, with the exception of Honeywell thermostats. Please visit the product manufacturer website for warranty information, or for Honeywell thermostats visit the Contact Us page so we can discuss available options.
